Default Best Test Kit or meters to Buy

What is the best test kit out there? I'd like to get one that has ALL the
possible tests I could want. I keep both fresh water plants and fish. I may
get into brackish or marine tanks one day.

Are there any meters that one can buy other than a PH meter?

Thanks,
Jim

it doesnt' really exist... AP makes the better liguid tests, IMO, but I
still need iron, phosphate, nitrAte, and those are all dry tab or stick
tests.... so it's probably not going to be one single package test....
YMMV...

Total Dissolved Solids. (The name is misleading, since it measures total
*ionic* dissolved solids, but what the heck.) A pocket-sized meter that
measures electrical conductivity. Very nice to know whether how much
osmotic shock your critters will experience in moving from one environment
to another.

In the marine-tank biz, people are often concerned with redox potential;
many lab-grade pH meters are equipped to read this, using a special
electrode for it.
