Ottawa Aquarium Club Hosts Annual Auction

On Sunday, February 29, 2004, aquarium hobbyists from Ontario,
Quebec and Upper New York State will converge on the Jack Purcell
Community Center for the Ottawa Valley Aquarium Society's annual giant
auction.
The auction of fish, aquarium plants and related equipment is the
club's major event of the year, and anyone with an interest in
aquariums is encouraged to attend. The doors open at 10:00 a.m. for
the set-up, registration and preview of items to be sold, with the
auction getting underway about 1:00 p.m. The Jack Purcell Community
Centre is located in Ottawa at 320 Elgin Street, just south of the
intersection of Elgin and Gilmour Streets. There is no charge for
admission, and snacks and refreshments will be available.
