goldfish eating my plants

I have 3 large goldfish (actually red cap orandas) and they either eat every
plant I put in the tank, or they suck on them so all the leaves fall off.

Are there any plants that goldfish do not like the taste of?

Ive seen tanks that people have that are full of Jungle Vals and seem to do
quite well with goldfish. I also have a tank with some Vals with goldfish.
The main problem is that they like to root them out of the substrate with
their snout. You might need to bury them in between rocks which is what I
had to do.
