Timothy Tom
I have a couple of RO units for my aquarium (automated top-off unit,
and unit in garage for water changes). One of the problems that I
have had is knowing when to change the RO membrane. I just got off
the phone with Spectrapure, and they just started to sell a Dual probe
meter which helps to...

Can a PS generate current into the sump that it is sitting in ? Last night
I was able to put my hand into my sump, now, 8 hours of running time later,
I get a mild, but nonetheless unpleasant shock that does not seem to
discharge or kick my GFCI.
Any ideas ? I don't think troubleshooting this is...

Help with simple light upgrade by
Pete
I recently converted my 38 gallom tank to salt water.
I am now looking to ugrade the lighting.
The tank is 36" wide.
Currently has a perfecto hood with single bulb.
I would like to have some live rock, maybe some creatures in the
future.
Will I need to replace the entire hood? (I think I do)

yellow tail info for teeb by
~Vicki ~
Hey I was looking through my new book and they said that yellow tails do
best in a group of three or more. Less than that they tend to be
aggressive. When I saw that I thought of you and yours who like to head

Have a great day,

MH problem and question about clams by
Dave Johnson
I've *finally* changed out the lighting over one of my tanks and added
400 W MH. My problem is that the bulb will fire for about 2 hours
and then shut down. After 10-12 minutes it turns back on again, then
goes off about 5-8 minutes later, repeating this cycle.
I've done some research and...

Xenia Not Doing So Well by

I bought a small fragment of a Xenia about 5 days ago and it just does not
look very healthy. My water quality is great and I was cautious to
acclimatize it very slowly. I only have 200 watts of PC lighting. All my
other corals are doing great. The Xenia only extends its arms for a couple
hours...
