bloggng the water boatman by kathy
Another entry up. This week the water boatman. I found a really neat picture of one. The water boatman was the first critter to show up in my pond when it was brand new. They fly by the light of the moon and stars to find your pond. Isn't that romantic?! kathy :-) www.blogfromthebog.com

Fibromyalgia- Run Silent, Run Deep by [email protected]
You may wonder where I am some days; Of my absence, you've inquired- You are worried that I'm missing meetings Or thinking that I'm just tired. If you only knew the truth about me- And of the enemy within; I battle this foe each day of my life- A war I cannot seem to win.

advise on lily's please by Gary John
Hi group. I purchased a nice lily (nymphaea) before the summer here in the UK. I gradually lowered it down so that the pot was on the bottom of the pond and leaves rested on the top of the pond. Was really pleased and excited when the first pink flower came out - but within a couple weeks, it has...

Lotus seeds by [email protected]
I used sandpaper to file the side of 3 lotus seeds. I then have put them in a clear bottles with warm water (which I replace once in 24 hours). The water does not turn cloudy?!??! Is this a problem? The seeds have irregular bulges and seems like they have some sort of air pockets inside? Is...

Ping Roy by RichToyBox
Roy, I see you are back on line. What was the extent of damage in your area? I have been worrying about you. If I remember right, you said the camper and boat were at the gulf property, so I assume they are no more, but with the change in direction of the storm, I wonder about the pond and the...

winter - fish in or out ? by Joel
If you had the chance to take the fish out of the pond and into a garage over the winter, what would you do? My pond is deep enough with some regular visits to make sure a hole remains open, making sure the airline and heater is working, which means clearing the snow off the pond and treking to...
