Python problems by
Tony
I've had a Python about a year that I've used for clean and refill my
aquarium. When I used it today, it drained just fine, but when it came time
to refill, it wouldn't send any water out the hose to the tank. I took the
green plastic unit apart to look for clogs and was unable to locate...

Hi,
The juwel compact filter has four compartments.
The first one is the thin blue sponge, then there is a gap, then the coarse

top. Is this correct?

Hi, as the subject says, I have extremely cloudy water. The tank is
fully cycled 20g and is a year old. I know this cloudiness is a
bacterial bloom, the water is not green, so an algae bloom is out. The
inhabitants of the tank a

Aquarium Pricing by
dan egli
Hey All,
Anyone know a good place to get an aquarium? Either a chain store (since this
is an international echo) or a mail order place. I am looking into replacing a
shattered tank and want to know about the cheapest place to get a new one.

with the distance between the filter base and the surface of the water
in the aquarium, however for...

Unexpected fish death by
lance lyon
Hi Dan,
Get an Ammonia test kit. They're cheap and can answer
that question easily.
Well, it wasn't ammonia - guess I just had a bunch of suicidal fish :-) Tank's
full of Neon Tetras now (& the catfish), no problems & all seems to be ok.
cheers,

I`ve got some glass... its actually from a shower door and would like to get
fishy with it. What size tank could i safely build with glass that is 2.5 to
3mm thick? Would making the tank narrower (IE limiting it to 4-8 inches of
depth) put less pressure on the glass? The sheets are 54 inches by 14...

That's as half-arsed as designing a house based on a water faucet design.
