Ick outbreak by
Jeffrey Walraven
I'm relatively new to aquariums, and have a 10 gallon tank with 6 fish. I
had an ick outbreak about 4 days ago which seems to have gotten under
control with a little medicine, but in the process I lost a Molly and still
have a pretty sick Black Tetra. The Tetra's fins are tattered, and I...

wrigglies in tank by
Sandi
I have a tank that is exclusively for mollies, except for 2 striped talking
cat fish.
The fish all seem well and healthy but I've noticed these little wrigglies
in the tank.
It's impossible to take a photo as they are only a maximum of 2mm long so
I've done my best to do a drawing. their colour...

Feeding Baby Kribensis by
Rich
Hi,
I have a 180L well planted and well stocked community tank. Last week my
pair of Kribensis did the cave thing, and now they're busy shepherding a
load of tiny babies along the bottom, keeping all the other fish away.
What can I feed the babies?

what can I feed brine shrimp? by
[email protected]
I know brine shrimp will eat algae and yeast, but I was wondering if I
could feed them things like "enriched self rising flour". That stuff is
really cheap, and the particles are small enough that I beleive the
brine shrimp will eat it. If that won't work, what is the least
expensive thing I can...

fish disaster by
mooreay@_no_spam_pipeline.com.au
Hi all
A few weeks ago we noted the out break of a fungal infection in our 4' -190lt
tropical setup. The tank is/was stocked with mostly S American a mix of tetras
and 5 corys, 4 large clown loaches for snail control and a solitary
bristlenose catfish. We checked our ancient copy of Axelrod and...

Nanocube or eclipse aquariums by
[email protected]
Greetings, I'm in the market for a compact marine fish only system and
have some questions regarding different options that are out there.
Here are my primary considerations:
1. Size. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment so I want something in the
15-25 gallon range. This is also why I want to get a...

SAE behaviour by
Bill Stock
I just added a new batch of SAEs to my office tank. I'll move some off to
the Plant tank in a few weeks and leave a few behind. I can't seem to keep
Otos in the Plant tank, they just seem to disappear. Likely the Barbs are
the problem, but they don't seem to bother the Tetras.
The new SAEs seem to...

Wanted: Source for Whiteworms and Grindals (NE Ohio Area Preferred) by
Nick Knight
Hi,
I've been shopping, of sorts, online (web sites and aquabid) and I see there
are winter sources for starter cultures of these 2 fish foods, but the cold
temps worry me. Even though it's going to be above freezing in the daytime
here (Cleveland, Ohio), the nights get much colder. I don't want...

Aquarium decor [cross-posted] by
hlessi
Some of you may know that I've got a shoal of assorted tiger barbs with
a fiddler crab in my aquarium. Right now, the crab tends to hang out
either in his little cave/hiding place or perched atop on my plants on
the surface. I had an idea though, to make (by hand) a replica of a
dock/pier to stick...

Guppy babies by
joeyp110uk
I have got some new Guppies and the woman in the shop said they are pregnant. I have looked for all the signs which she seems to have ie) black gravid spot, belly shape almost like corners, she keeps ducking down to behind rocks and plants etc... Where on her body do the babies come out? How many...
