![]() "Rich" wrote in message ... Hi, I have a 180L well planted and well stocked community tank. Last week my pair of Kribensis did the cave thing, and now they're busy shepherding a load of tiny babies along the bottom, keeping all the other fish away. What can I feed the babies? Rich Cyclopese and baby brine shrimp make good first foods. You could also post this question on rec.aquaria.freshwater.cichlids Crumbling a good flake food into a powder can also work. Leaving algae on the rocks and substrate allow them to comb through it where the food will stick making it easy for them to feed. Just be careful of overfeeding as the food will break down quickly and add to the bioload. Tim http://www.fishaholics.org Kribensis profile at http://www.fishaholics.org/show_fish.php?FishIndex=7 |
