How important is the plastic frame on an All-Glass tank, the modern kind
with good silicone seals? I had a small fire in my tank hood, and part of the frame melted, in spots both on the top frame & bottom, on one end. I'm not sure how the structural integrity of my tank is affected. I've only had it half-full since then. Thanks, B |

If the frame is made of metal, they are normaly a part of the struckture. -- SEE YA !!! Trygve Lillefosse AKA - Malawi, The Fisher King |
