Default MH bulb question.

Hi all, I recently replaced my MH bulb. But the only way the bulb lights
up is by giving it a little screwing pressure. The bulb is screwed in
nicely, but it seems that it needs a touch and pressure to get it
started. It's freaking me out because next week I go on vacation, and I
can't have the tank suffer a week without light. (I have a timer and a
feeder.)

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Rich
