Default wintering bog plants

which bog plants can survive the winter??
I have several taros,, & MY imperial taro did NOT grow taller than 8 inches
this year ( any ideas??) some in bog garden, some in planters.
also lots of lettuce, & arrowhead, etc.

can they stay in the bog garden? or do I need to pull them ? repot & sink
them? or what?

(it was over 20 yrs since my last pond, so I don't remember exactly what I
did)
