Yay! I got my own apartment! Nice place, 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Fireplace.
Spacious kitchen. Just one problem. My fish! Any ideas on the best way
to move them? All bettas, 7 one gallon containers (mini tanks). But
then there is the added problem of my betta fry. Not all of them are
big enough to jar yet... and my best idea on moving them is to wait as
long as I can, drain the 5gal tank until only a few inches are left,
and put plastic wrap on the top. Move it like that, and hook it back up
in my new apartment immediately. Or I could do that first, because it is
kinda in my way to get other stuff that I need.
The adults will be easier, because I can bag them, and they won't
suffer too much from the experience. Hmm, maybe get my 10gal to the
apartment, set that up, and float the bags in it to maintain warmth?
Forget apples, let's go Bobbing For Bettas! LOL!

PLEASE HELP!!!!

There was a recent thread on moving a few miles. The tanks were small
enough to move by doing as you are thinking, lowering the water level.
As I recall, there was a problem in stop and go traffic spilling some
water. Perhaps setting your small tanks in garbage bags would avoid
wetting the vehicle.

Why bag your fish? I would leave them in the tank. I always hate
netting fish.

Congratulations on the new "digs", "pad" whatever is the current word.
I well remember my first "own" apartment!
