Default sick/injured fish

I have a fish (5 yr & 9" subunkin) that got trapped in the skimmer, I
released it and it seemed to recover, but today I noticed that it is now
growing a white fungus like material at the places where it was injured.

Suggested treatment please.

================
I'll tell you what I would do and that is to remove the fish from the pond
and put it in one of those cheap totes from Wal*Mart with about 10 gallons
of pond water. Add an anti-fungal medication to the water. Watch the
ammonia levels. You'll probably need to do a large partial water change
before you add more medication every day. If it's weak from being trapped
and already fungused it most likely will die.
