It dissolves as soon as it hits the water. As far as salt creep is
concerned. If you manage the aquaria regularly, it shouldn't be a
problem. I visually inspect my 125 long, 30 tall and 55 std. daily.
Unmanageable chunks of salt don't build up that fast.
