Default Anemones Splitting

How long does it take for a anemone to split? My ritteri is doing
something funky, but it looks like it has two clefts pushing toward the
center.

I've done 2 25 gallon water changes a few days apart and my water
conditions seem reasonable. My nitrates still float high, but normal
for my tank.
