I like urchins but i like the looks and all of
coraline better than an urchin especiallyb in a reef tank. Urchins
are all part and parcell of a marine environment, and god only knows
the gulf of mexico is full of them..and they do make a setup look more
natural.......but i like my coraline better. I will have one at least
when I get the puffers tank setup though.

the UK offered me his Urchin for free....I guess he feels the same
way - lol

enough algae to keep the thing well fed....and it has to be said since

corals right now there is nothing to compete with my blue legged
hermits....absolute b*st*rds when it comes to that....my capnella is

I would think once you get your larger tank and it matures adding
one
ort two at most would be fine.....Odds are you may have to
supplement
food with nori algae as they are know to consume decent quanities of
algae. Hedk while your at it how about a cowrie.......they are
pretty neat also and also eat algae.........and are also know to
bulldoze corals etc over. ;-)

I've got some cowries....and those are pretty neat too....when not out
and about they look like pretty snail shells....but boy when they are
on
the rampage they look like slugs with all sorts of hairy legs poking
out....not the same critters at all.....haven't seen them bulldoze the
corals yet - maybe the blue legs do such a great job of it they don't
need to bother yet - hmmmmmm.....

I need inspiration as to fish though for the new tank....I've been
browsing at the LFS and am slowly getting some ideas but will be back
here with questions when I get the tank and am eventually ready for
the
fish - no rush....and afterall the cost of the stuff makes waiting
easier - you need to wait for the money in the bank again before
making
additions - lol

But I'm still tempted by the long spined black thing while it is
available.....
