I picked up some Corys from the LFS yesterday. Last night I noticed that
one of them has a "pimple" just forward of its right pectoral fin, where

the
fin joins the body. The "pimple is off-white and about 1/16" in

diameter.

Would this thing be a cancerous growth or a parasite/disease? If it is
something that would only affect that fish, that is OK, but I if it is
something that will infect the other fish, then I want to take care of

it.

Thanks,
Dave

Having seen what is now happening to your post and the fact that any
advice that could help you is in danger of sinking into the mire can I
suggest you try posting your question to a google group (and you can
also post pics there which will help in the diagnosis) - it is a very
active group which you can check out before deciding whether to post or
not....along with reading some of the past posts there if you need to
without joining at all.....The link is:-

http://groups.google.com/group/The-F...Aquarium?hl=en

It is lightly moderated with no trolls.....

Yes, I completely agree with Gill about that.
It's a great place where the rest of the knowlegeable people have
moved to.
The trouble maker/s isn't/aren't allowed to cause havoc.

Where Tristan and Tynk are kept muzzled and leashed like mad dogs.

You're so funny.
I, unlike you, can post at all the moderated groups.

That's because they keep you muzzled there. You agree with the party-line.
Your arrogance is kept under control. They can't control you here. And
you're such a hypocrite. You tell others who to kilkfile but you never
killfile anyone you have it in for.
