It's turned super cold here in Iowa. I've always wondered exactly what
happens uner the ice in my pond. This article is a great source of
information the Winter effect on koi, goldfish and ponds. Written by
Richard Carlson and published by AKCA answers some of the most basic
pond questions such as: how to prepare the pond, immune system
changes, toxic gases, ammonia and aeromonas bacteria problems. Simple
tips on feeding and preparing your filters can make a world of
difference to your fish. Visit Http://www.richdeer3pondsupplies.com...46/page/902636
to view the entire article. Stay warm and wish for Spring!

This is an excellent article on Winter Pond care!
I had already read this article and had referenced to it from my pond
care article in the Winter Care section of recommended links:

Carl

And Carols the notorious spammer who has yet nothing worthwhile to
say, but continues on babbling on like a drunken moron like
TYNK..while he tries to peddle his wares. I would be more interested
if I was Carls to know what goes up under his wifes skirt with that
extra pair of legs sticking out from under it, or is Carols such a
fool to think his wife does indeed have 4 legs under that skirt! I
bet whoever it is that is up under his wifes skirt is licking that
thing and doing it some good unlike Carls who is too intent to spam
groups than service his own old lady..............can you make at
least one post Carls without mentioning your lameassed website and
trying to peddle your old supply of worthless junk to unsuspecting
people? I doubt it!

Respect for others is sadly lacking in this group. Just because
outside resources are suggested does not mean it's just spam. We all
are learning how to care for ponds and fish. I personally use the
forums to gather more knowledge about this great hobby and to share
any helpful information I have found. If I or any other webmaster have
a resource that may help others it should be posted without people
disrespecting the poster. Remember to keep your words sweet as you may
have to eat them!
