Subject: stress coat useful?
From: "Graham Broadbridge" Date: 4/21/2004 12:44 AM Central Daylight Time Message-id: "Chris Palma" wrote in message ... Hi. I have to do a gravel vac & adjust a plant some time this week. I know that the advertising suggests that any time that you do something like this you should add stress coat, but I'm wondering what the r.a.f. wisdom is on this -- is stress coat as beneficial as it purports to be? I don't IMO the stuff is snake oil - basically useless. From memory the chief ingredient is Aloe Vera. Go buy a plant or a tube of the gel and put some in the tank. It'll be a lot cheaper for the same effect. Graham. I have to disagree with ya on that. It's not "snake oil", it's a good product. |
