maybe check the temperature is right?
also I found on my wooden floors they don't like the vibrations I cause when walking around the tank when they were juveniles. Also it could just be the sudden change in the enviroment, or they could be bloated. hope this might help cheers luke "HRATZKY" wrote in message ... I just purchased a pair of young red oscars. I set up a 10 gallon tank only for them. They are apparently frightened and are immobile at the bottom of the tank. They refuse to eat. This has happened in the past with oscars.
