![]() "Mat" wrote in message ... I'm planning to clean out my 50 gallon tank and I have 2 big suckermouth catfish, 1 large Clown loach 5 tetras, lots of guppies (of course!) 1 platty with baby's in the tank (5 cm's long), about 5 molly's with smaller baby's and 1 silver ghost (not sure of the real name!!). And I would like to know how to move them safely or something while I clean the gravel and the filter. The tank would get very messy and I don't want any deaths!! Any comments or suggestions would be very helpful. Garbage cans in the 30 gallon range can be had quite cheaply- $6US. Siphon out a good part of the water and add the fish- a spare airstone wouldn't hurt. Then you're free to clean and vac the gravel all you want- *and* move the tank. -- Toni http://www.cearbhaill.com/aquarium.htm |
