Default Goldfish anatomy questions

About a month ago I accidentally dropped way more fish food than I intended
into a tank. It was a bare-bottom quaratine tank with two fish. I was
amazed/shocked/impressed that about 8-10 pellets were sucked down in a two
blinks of a eye (litterally) by one small 2-inch goldfish. First, where did
all that food go? This stuff was sucked down too fast for the fish to
digest any of it. So is a goldfish like a chipmunk or a sloth and store the
excess stuff in his cheaks?

Second, do goldfish have teath and if so, where are they in the fish? It
does look like goldfish chew their food, but the teath don't appear in the
front of their mouths.

Third, from what I've observed the goldfish eating MO is eat whatever looks
like food and fits in their month. If the food only partially fits in the
mouth they will try to "tear off" what they have by giving their heads a
hard yank. If they can't swallow it, they'll spit the food out and usually
have another go at it. Is this a correct discription of how goldfish eat?

Just curious,

I know that their teeth are kind of in the back of their mouths/ top of
their throats. They get the stuff in their mouths and then chew it on down.
That's why sometimes they'll have a big chunk in their mouths for so long,
while they chew at it. But I'm not sure where they stuff goes when they
swallow it that fast- I think their mouths connect to another dimension
sometimes!

no stomach so over feeding leads to pooping out undigested food. they got pharyngeal
teeth (grinding plates) in their throat. Ingrid
