I use 2 400w 20KK's on my 75 with no supplemental lighting at all,
everything in the tank does great and are growing like weeds. the only reason to keep the PC's would be for personal eye pleasure to yourself, but as you stated your happy with the MH's only, so rip em out. kc "MoparMan" wrote in message ... OK i have a 100 gallon reef setup and have 2 48"130 watt 50/50 power compacts,I finally decided on 20k bulbs for my dual 250 metal halide setup for the same aquarium.Do i still need to use the power compacts for actinic or can i just use the 20k setup?I really love the 20k bulbs and want to take down the PC's Thanks |

No supplemental lighting, everything growing like weeds, etc. etc. You should be fine, just be aware that anemones and the like will want to be a little higher in the tank than they would in Dragon Slayer's setup. -mat |
