Aquariun pump runs 24 hours??
I just got a 10 gallon aquarium for my kids this Christmas.
Since it does not say anything in the instructions, does the aquarium pump run continuously 24 hours a day all the time?? I am guessing it does, but was not certain. Any information appreciated.

I just got a 10 gallon aquarium for my kids this Christmas. Since it does not say anything in the instructions, does the aquarium pump run continuously 24 hours a day all the time?? I am guessing it does, but was not certain. Any information appreciated. Did your aquarium come with a filter as well as an air pump? Hang on the back type power filters are best for goldfish in my opinion : ) Maria
