LOL
I'll bet after it sits in the tank for week or so and gets
overgrown with algae and muck, he might just catch on....

I doubt he would ever be attracted to a fake one.

No....
I tried one of those new ones just out of curiosity.
Three weeks and no go. The Lawnmower Blenny loved it though....

Those clown tank raise?
Or, they may not have seen or experience a real anemone. Your fish may need
to get out more often. 8)

My clowns think that their big Catalyphyllia is an anemone -- they have a
real anemone, but they mostly prefer the Cat.

Mine are tank raised and do not like the fake...
What has that got to do with it?
You guys just think you have an answer for everything, but stuff like fish
behavior is mostly an unknown...
Speculation on a matter such as this is pointless.

Heehee.... Ok.
So you got me -- red handed [blush 8)].
Yep, I do not know fish behavior. Oh... female / woman too. Heehe.
Both creature behavior are very dynamic.
