Default Q: Standoff Or Overflow?

"Chris" wrote in message ...
For plumbing my new tank i'm wondering if i should buil in an overflow or
just use a standoff?

ideas / recomendations?

Thanks

IMHO an overflow box allows a greater area of water draw from your
tank, as compared to a standoff pipe, and thus provides less problems
with "dead" areas where water flow is poor, and detritus can
accumulate.
