Aquarium seals, how long?
How long are seals "reliable" for? I have some pretty old tanks and have been
thinking about resealing. The joints all look very good but the inner seals are looking pretty sad. TIA

The joints all look very good but the inner seals are looking pretty sad. TIA My personal longest is 20 years on a all glass silicone glued tank, 29H..... Then it got a little leak, so I resealed it. I cut out the old and added new. I did not disassemble the glass sections.....I did on the top and bottom frames, and reset and re-sealed those though.
