I have to open my mouth about this one...lol
After 20 years of keeping gouramis and small dainos I came in here and
asked about other cichlids beside angels which would work in my
community tank. I had just upgraded from a 20g to a 55g and I wanted
something new. I was confused with the "community" listing on cichlids
and was wondering if it meant real community or just a community of
cichlids. Well I was given some great advice and picked up 4 kribs and
2 severums to add to the tank. I could not be happier with the choice
either. Two of my kribs are spawning now (red bellies) and the severums
are stately, playful, intelligent and rather tough. I sit by the tank
for hours sometimes working on the computer (not posting tho, pc seems
to crash but that is for another group..lol) and the severums and the
angels love to sit there and watch me. My only regrets are that I took
so long to get the 55g and that I don't have room for something larger
so I can have more than two severums.
