I hope you realize how large a healthy GF gets to be in less than a year. They're also an oxygen and food hungry fish that produce a lot of waste. Picture keeping a person in closet with the door barely cracked. You need to return the GF and get a betta or perhaps a few pretty male guppies. Koi-Lo wrote: Meanwhile do your ammonia and nitrite tests....... and constant partial water changes. what do i need for the ammonia and nitrite tests? ============ Go to the pet shop and ask them for a text kit for PH, ammonia and nitrites. The kits run about $7 each or buy the test strips. Also, Google aquarium+care or something similar. You can also check this out: Aquarium FAQ at: http://faq.thekrib.com/ -- Koi-Lo....
