Default Blood parot

Hello all. So I've had my 2 blood parots for about 4 months and I love them.. I also have a black bumble bee african cichlid. They've been fine together since I've got them with no problems. Today I decided to get another baby blood parot a little less than an inch. The problem is the African cichlid will not stop chasing the baby around the tank. Will this pass with time or should I get him outta there? I've never had this problem please any info will help I couldn't find anything online. Thanks to all! Also my tank is 55 g
