have you looked into any of the anubias like the nana or coffefolia
species?

Anubias nana is low growing and can be attached like java fern. Java moss is
a nother possibility.
There are quite a few aquatic ferns, bolbitus comes in quite a few flavors
and many of them don't grow as tall as java fern.

I think that these nets would be perfect for connecting mosses, ferns, Arubas, etc. to the driftwood, substrate, and with elastic sewn on the edge of the network appears, it is very suitable for stone. The website should be easy to cut and tie, weight loss, butterfly clips, or in the root line.
