Fred Quimbo
Sorry, I wrote a wrong description in my previous post.
I was describing the Texas cichlid. The fish that the LFS
called as "5-color cichlid" has a banded body.

Dave Becker
Does anyone have an H.O.T. filter they were going to toss
and would like to give up the "Cover Lock"? That's the
piece of plastic on the top of the cover that grabs the
stiff wire and holds the cover on. I lost mine! And it's
not listed in the Marineland Magnum manual parts section.
I'm in the...

Feeding Frontosa by
Pokey
I recently acquired a juvenile Frontosa, placing him in a tank with a
variety of other fish. Everything seems okay except there's a concern at
feeding time. All the other cichlids go to the top to feed on the offerings,
however, the Frontosa rarely joins in. By the time he even seems interested

Finger Biting Oscars by
Ryan
I have two Oscars about 6 inches long each and they love to try and bite my
fingers when I feed them. I'm curious how hard they can bite once they are
full grown. I have a two year old that likes to feed them. Should I be
worried that they could hurt his fingers or even mine...

adult fish that looked totally different. The fish I saw was 3-4 cm...

Looking to upgrade from a 29" Long tank; recommendations appreciated by
Curt120R
I have a 20" long tank, decorated with as many rocks I gathered on a
trip to St. Lucia, a broken flower pot, and one artificial cave. I
have one Pseudotropheus crabro (bumble),who is half the age of his 2
tank mates - electric blues. However, the bumble bee, who used to be
picked on, is now...
