Does your ISP provide a news server? If it does, you could switch to a
newsreader rather than using Google Groups. Most will allow you to
filter posts based on keywords, email addresses, or user names. You can
also set many newsreaders to ignore certain threads or ignore
crossposts. Having good filters really helps some days.

Doesn't make it right, some things we should keep to ourself...

I don't know, I'll have to look into it. You have to remember, I'm one
of those "old guys" - computers weren't around untill after I was
already over the hill ;-)

I was 51 when I got my 1st computer. You're never too old to try something
new. :-)) There are FREE NSPs out there you can use. Google is torture.

If you know how to add a NS to OE you can use aioe.jcb.net. For a free
service it's quite good.

Yes, they do. I'm on SBC/Yahoo. Here are some pretty detailed
instructions to get you started.
