I need the lights to see...
I need the pumps to work when positioning outlets/jets, etc.
It is simply not practical turning stuff off when manipulating in the tank.

I wonder how does it feel when a cleaner shrimp
starts picking on your boob dipped in the water :-)
I would have to be a girl to get experience like this. :-))
It was kind of nice when they wanted to pick hair
from the skin on my hand :-)))

That's what I think. Gotta see where the water's going. My ex was giving me a
hard time about it.

Usually it gets jerked out pretty fast.

If it is safe for the fish, it should be safe for your
hands. If your fish are sick and dying, then you could
have some risk. Cuts, of course make you more at risk to
things. I sure don't worry about it. I have even caught
lion fish with my hands.

Amazing the things we are exposed to. I appreciate that article, remind me
how aware should I be when handling the tank (gloves), not in a panicky way
but just to be wise enough to use common sense.
