Raise your hands....who remembers to turn off everything before reaching into the tank...?? Cindy |

"Teri G." wrote in message . .. Yuck & ouch. Appreciate the article. Do not panick - this must be very, very rare... I put my bare hands to the tank water for many, many countles years and nothing happened to me ... yet :-) All people swiming and playing in the ocean would risk the same infections but this does not stop them surfing or diving, right ? So let's not panick... Let's not forget splashing water in eyes and girls accidentally dipping their boob when reaching into a deep tank.... |

Raise your hands....who remembers to turn off everything before reaching into the tank...?? I not only not remember, but INTENTIONALLY leave them on... I need the lights to see... I need the pumps to work when positioning outlets/jets, etc. It is simply not practical turning stuff off when manipulating in the tank. |

I wonder how does it feel when a cleaner shrimp starts picking on your boob dipped in the water :-) I would have to be a girl to get experience like this. :-)) It was kind of nice when they wanted to pick hair from the skin on my hand :-))) |

Gotta see where the water's going. My ex was giving me a hard time about it. |

Amazing the things we are exposed to. I appreciate that article, remind me
how aware should I be when handling the tank (gloves), not in a panicky way but just to be wise enough to use common sense. Thanks for the comments, Ruben |
